Deep-Sea and Submarine Landforms

This group collects the Landform Concepts subcategory's members that name and define landforms of the ocean floor beyond the shoreline and the tidal zone: abyssal fans, cold seeps, undersea banks and the cyclic steps and archipelagic aprons that sediment and currents build on the deep seabed. These are the subcategory's smallest group, distinguished from the coastal and shoreline group by lying below the reach of tides and waves rather than at the shore itself.
