All Karst Landscapes and Landforms

Karst landscapes and the landforms of dissolving limestone, such as tower karst, poljes, limestone pavements, karst windows and stone forests. Karst develops where soluble rock such as limestone, dolomite or gypsum is dissolved by slightly acid water, leaving sinking streams, caves and strangely sculpted surfaces. A landform belongs here when its cited article names karst as its setting or origin. Each member is placed by what its own article says it is, never by its name alone.
