An Teallach is a mountain in Wester Ross, in Scotland's Northwest Highlands, standing west of Dundonnell Forest between Loch na Sealga and Little Loch Broom, with its highest point reaching 1,062.5 meters. Like the neighboring Torridon Hills it is built mostly of Torridonian sandstone, weathered into terraced slopes cut by steep ravines. Its most dramatic feature is the Corrag Bhuidhe ridge, a knife edge of pinnacles that includes an overhanging ledge known as Lord Berkeley's Seat. The name, meaning the forge or the anvil in Scottish Gaelic, may come from mist wreathing its pinnacles like smoke, or from tinkers who once worked forges nearby.
