Mountain Ranges and Hill Ranges

Named ranges of mountains and hills that rise above surrounding country, with their geology and extent described in their own articles. A range belongs here when its cited article calls it a mountain range or a range of hills. It excludes granite kopje groups, which sit in their own group, and single peaks. Each is placed by its own article, which gives the rock type, the border it crosses and the park or reserve around it.
