All Granite Hills and Kopjes

Hills and ranges of weathered granite, including kopjes, granite domes and ridges rising from flat plains in Africa and Australia. A range belongs here when its cited article describes granite hills, granitic mountains or granite ridges. It excludes folded sedimentary ranges and fold mountains. The rounded boulders and domes form as joints in the granite weather below the soil and the soil is later stripped away.
