The Cowlitz Glacier is a glacier on the southeast flank of Mount Rainier in Washington state, covering about 1.3 square miles with a volume of roughly 6 billion cubic feet. It begins at about 10,700 feet and flows southeast, nearly meeting the adjacent Ingraham Glacier and sharing a common terminus with it during the Little Ice Age, which ended around 1850; the Paradise Glacier connects to it along its southwest margin. Its meltwater drains into the Cowlitz River. This description is adapted from Wikipedia contributors under CC BY-SA 4.0; changes were made. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/
