Glisan Glacier

Glaciers and Ice Formations

Glisan Glacier was an alpine glacier on the northwest slope of Mount Hood in Hood River County, Oregon, at an average elevation of about 7,500 feet (2,300 meters). It has retreated to the point that it is no longer considered a glacier, its former terminus now barren rock.
