Glaciers and Ice Formations

The Schlatenkees is a glacier in the Venediger Group, within the core zone of the High Tauern National Park in Austria, east of the Grossvenediger peak. Covering around 9 square kilometers, it is the largest valley glacier in East Tyrol and, after the Obersulzbachkees, the second largest glacier in the Venediger group, with its exposure mainly to the east.
