Blue Glacier is a large glacier north of Mount Olympus in the Olympic Mountains of Jefferson County, Washington, within Olympic National Park. It spans about 1.7 square miles, stretches 2.7 miles in length, and reaches a thickness of 900 feet, but it has been retreating and thinning for decades, shrinking from about 3.4 miles long in 1800 to 2.7 miles by 2000 and receding a further 325 feet between 1995 and 2006.
