Baspa Valley is a river valley in the Kinnaur District of Himachal Pradesh, India, named after the Baspa River, a tributary of the Sutlej River whose annual runoff is derived largely from glacier and snowmelt. Also known as the Sangla Valley or Tukpa Valley, its main town is Sangla, and it contains the villages of Chitkul, Rakchham, Batseri, Kamru, the old capital of Bushahr State, and Chansu. The valley has often been praised for its scenic beauty.
