Aaron Glacier

Glaciers and Ice Formations

Aaron Glacier is a glacier about 4 nautical miles long that drains eastward from the Ford Massif in the Thiel Mountains of Antarctica, flowing between Janulis Spur and Gray Spur. The name was proposed by Peter Bermel and Arthur Ford, co-leaders of the United States Geological Survey Thiel Mountains survey party of 1960 to 1961, for John M. Aaron, a USGS geologist who served on that party's 1960-61 and 1961-62 field seasons.
