Glen Strathfarrar is a glen in the Highland region of Scotland, near Loch Ness, covering roughly 40 square kilometers. The River Farrar winds along its flat floor, passing Loch a Mhuillidh and Loch Beannacharan before dropping over Culligran Falls and joining the River Glass to form the River Beauly near Struy. The glen is flanked by mountains popular with hikers, including several Munros to the north and two Corbetts, and its central 4,027 hectare section is designated a national scenic area. It forms part of the Affric-Beauly hydro-electric power scheme, with dams at Loch Monar, whose arch dam is the largest in Britain, and Loch Beannacharan, and holds remnants of ancient Caledonian Forest alongside birch woodland and heathland supporting red deer, otters, and golden eagles.
