Schoolroom Glacier is a small hanging glacier in the Teton Range in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming, at an elevation of 10,400 feet next to the south Cascade Canyon trail, about 12 miles from the Jenny Lake trailhead. It covers 2 acres and extends 325 feet, and displays well defined terminal and lateral moraines, crevasses, and a proglacial lake, textbook features that give the glacier its name and make it useful for studying glacier dynamics. Below it lies a moraine dammed tarn formed as the ice has retreated, and like most glaciers worldwide it is shrinking, expected to disappear by 2030 or sooner under current climate conditions.
