Louisa Reef

Louisa Reef is a coral reef in the southern part of the Spratly Islands in the South China Sea, oval in shape and about 1.5 kilometers long from east to west and half a kilometer wide from north to south. Most of the reef stays submerged, though some portions emerge at low tide and a few small rocks remain above water even at high tide. It is currently controlled by Brunei and is also claimed by China and Taiwan, while Malaysia once claimed it but has since withdrawn its claim, accepting that the reef lies on Brunei's continental shelf.
