Hebe Reef is a reef about 5 kilometers northwest of the mouth of the Tamar River in Tasmania, Australia. Part of the reef is visible at low tide but is completely submerged at middle and high tide, and its unsuspected location in what appears to be the open channel to the river has deceived many ships, a number of which have been wrecked on its rocks.
